10 Years revealing secrets because there is no excuse for secrecy in religion (w1997 June 1) – Dan 2:47; Matt 10:26; Mark 4:22; Luke 12:2; Acts 4:19. 20.

It’s been 4 years since the Canadian Branch was able to have a Special program. On March 3rd, 2024 they had their reunion. The guests for this program were James Mantz, part of the writing department from Warwick, and Joshua Saldana. The program began with a summary of The Watchtower by Kevin Knaus, it was regarding the young men in the organization needing to step up and do more for their Congregation. “Men are needed, this is a reality for these last days.”

Give us more Faith

A musical prelude was played “Give us more Faith” Song 118, based on Luke 17:5. The song is about the lack of faith they have because of their imperfections, and flaws, So they are asking Jehovah to give them more faith for it is their refuge.

The short video clip below shows Witnesses asking for this faith from Jehovah in a heavily wooded area in the snow, meeting up for some sort of meeting, possibly in hiding, or just checking out the mountains?

The rest of the music video plays into the next song “Jehovah, God of Peace” Song 112, based on Philippians 4:9. This song has a variety of messages, about how Jehovah will put an end to war in this dark world, and how we need to keep Godly peace. The video playing along shows scenery around the world for a few minutes and then casts off into types of animations including Caleb and Sophia going out in service. Parts of the video have been edited out only so that we keep names confidential.

Every Drop Counts

The 1st talk was “Every Drop Countsgiven by Marc Boucher, a member of the Canadian branch committee. Summarizing the 20-minute talk, “Let’s see how every drop in the ocean, can relate to bible prophecies.” was based on how the waters are rising, and divine knowledge is being preached and publicized “like never before.”

Boucher brings up 3 consecutive peaks for Canada. From October to December, they had 121,949 publishers. Then another 2 peaks of regular pioneers, from October to January of 18,471 publishers. “There is no obstacle too big for Jehovah to get over it! Let us obey and rely and know that the waters of the truth will keep rising. Not just in the field, but benefiting us as Jehovah’s people. One way God is helping us is by our regional conventions- that is filled with divine education.”

He said the lesson of the wave rising of the truths is that we need to obey the organization and take full advantage. “We need infrastructures, we need more kingdom halls, bethels. Our local design construction department has been very busy. There have been 7 more Kingdom Halls, 9 more renovations, and 105 big maintenance projects in Canada.” In the above clip, Boucher summarizes 4 different points to reassure the audience on why to be obedient, that the knowledge of Jehovah will fill the earth like how the waters cover the sea.”

This talk started with how the waters of truths keep rising- (It’s a good thing they didn’t attempt to bring up the flood here, for that could get confusing for them again.) About their Activity report for Canada, and concluded on how they need more infrastructure.

Life up your eyes

Joshua Saldana’s talk “Lift up your eyes” started by sending their love and greetings from the Governing Body and Bethel family. His main point was about having your focus purely on Jehovah. He dove into how a telescope was used to document small slices of the universe, and how in 10 square degrees there are over 200,000 Galaxies, each one having 20 quadrillion stars. “As amazing as it is, that is not all Jehovah wants us to see. The scriptures say lift your eyes up TO the heavens.”

He brings out how Jehovah can call out everyone by their name, his mind being a comprehensive map of the universe. That Jehovah knows every star and its name.  “How Jehovah must  care if he knows about every star. So how does he care about his people? Well, stars are not people.  People can take a stand for Universal sovereignty. Jehovah cares about you as he does the stars, we are so important to Jehovah. We need to be attentive and not be so focused on our problems. We need to be resilient and keep getting back up because Jehovah is helping us lift our problems. Allow Jehovah to readjust your focus.”

So the talk went from describing how many stars there are, to how Jehovah knows them by name, meaning we should allow God to readjust our focus because He- (Who has decided to give out “new understandings” of his own words every now and then) -cares for us.

Safeguard your precious treasures

Starting his talk “Safeguard your Precious Treasures” James Mantz asks the audience “When we talk about the truth, what do we mean? John 17:17 citing  “your word is truth” “-Jehovah teaches us the truth, including all of his words in the bible. A combination of many truths. Jehovah teaches all truths himself. About him, us, how to conduct ourselves, the future, the earth.”

So what is your most precious possession?”

To summarize, Mantz goes a little into how families can suffer dealing with materialistic things or worries of the world. “It should be clear that your most prized possession should be having faith in Jehovah.”

Engage any Jehovah’s Witness, and you’ll uncover their steadfast stance on the allure of “material possessions.” The Organization consistently emphasizes that while material wealth may wax and wane, one’s bond with Jehovah remains the paramount treasure.
