JEHOVAH’S

WITNESSES

10 Years revealing secrets because there is no excuse for secrecy in religion – w1997 June 1; Dan 2:47; Matt 10:26; Mark 4:22; Luke 12:2; Acts 4:19, 20.

A 9-minute video from defrocked Governing Body Member Anthony Morris has recently surfaced, and it might just be one of the last recorded videos of Morris prior to his ejection from the top leadership of the Jehovah’s Witness Church.

The video, curiously titled “Beware of Satan’s Temptation to Make You Smoke” appears to be a click-bait subject title that has nothing to do with the act of smoking, which is a disfellowshipping offense for “unrepentant” Jehovah’s Witnesses.

According to sources, this video had been slated for inclusion in the May 2023 JW Broadcasting episode, but was quietly deleted from that production.

In a rambling and somewhat peculiar speech, Morris opens by referring to a published “Daily Text” from the Jehovah’s Witnesses from April 19th of this year, 2023.

“We’re talking about the way Satan himself smoked many years ago.” said Morris.

Morris proceeds to open his bible and refer to scripture in 1 Timothy chapter 3, in connection with the qualifications of an “Overseer” or elder.

He reads verse 6, which says that an overseer should “not [be] a newly converted man, for fear that he might get puffed up with pride and fall into the judgment passed on the Devil.”

According to Morris, the original Greek phrase rendered “puffed up with pride” literally means “to be made to smoke.”

He explains, “If you’re made to smoke, you’re wrapped in smoke. Now if I was sitting here wrapped in smoke, I couldn’t see myself clearly, and you couldn’t see others clearly…because you’re wrapped in smoke, you see.”

“So to be trapped up in smoke, to be puffed up with pride, is offensive to Jehovah God…”

Morris proceeds to rant about Satan himself, declaring that “Satan crashed, because of his pride. He was made to smoke, haughty, just wrapped in smoke. And Jehovah gave him the judgment of eternal death. He’ll be abyssed for 1,000 years, and then the judgment of eternal death.”

“And he has to deal with that every day. And uh, not going to change somebody like him because he’s wrapped in smoke.”

As Morris continues his discussion of Satan’s smoke, he declares that Satan “is not going to appreciate my morning worship…(laughter from audience).. Uh…the Governing Body is already being targeted never before by this wicked ones, so that’s the way it is…”

The mystery surrounding the unceremonious removal of Anthony Morris continues to baffle current and former Jehovah’s Witnesses, who speculate on the many possible reasons Morris was demoted from his position at the top of the Witness Organization.
